The Society’s main activities were the
performance of four concerts over the year.
Three of these were public_a capella_
performances in Lacock, Bath and Bradford
on Avon, very much in the nature of the
Society’s normal concert programme.
The fourth concert was a major undertaking
entitled Messiah 250, staged performance
of Messiah with Paragon Singers
supported by a professional stage director,
soloists and orchestra. The undertaking
was funded through an Arts Council Grant
and a major private donation, as well as
smaller donations and crowdfunding. The
concert and some of the associated
rehearsals were filmed by students of Bath
Spa University as part of their media
degrees.

workshops as well as presenting ‘sing-

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2022.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
