TRUSTEES REPORT (INCLUDING DIRECTORS' REPORT)
TO THE TRUSTEES OF NATALIA FAITH GRACE FOUNDATION LTD
The trustees present their report and financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2022.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in note to the financial statements and comply with the Charity's [governing document], the Companies Act 2006 and "Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019)".
Objectives and activities
The charity's objects are to relive the needs of young homeless children through:
a.The provision of an orphanage in India.
b.The provision of a Christian environment for advancing education
c. The provision of supporting activities to develop life skills and capacity to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
Statement of Trustees' responsibilities.
The trustees, who are also the directors of Natalia Faith Grace Foundation Ltd for the purpose of company law, are responsible for preparing the Trustees Report and the accounts in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Company Law requires the trustees to prepare accounts for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources, including the income and expenditure, of the charitable company for that year.
In preparing these accounts, the trustees are required to:
-select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
-
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP;
-
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; and
-
prepare the accounts on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation.
The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the accounts comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

The charity's policies include:
(1)raising funds; in doing so, the charity must not undertake any taxable permanent trading activity and must comply with any relevant statutory regulations;
(2) buy, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any property and to maintain and equip it for use;
(3) sell, lease or otherwise dispose of all or any part of the property belonging to the charity. In exercising this power, the charity must comply as appropriate with sections 117 and 122 of the Charities Act 2011.
(4) borrow money and to charge the whole or any part of the property belonging to the charity as security for repayment of the money borrowed or as security for a grant or the discharge of an obligation. The charity must comply as appropriate with sections 124 - 126 of the Charities Act 2011 if it wishes to
(5) co-operate with other charities, voluntary bodies and statutory authorities and to exchange information and advice with them;
(6)establish or support any charitable trusts, associations or institutions formed for any of the charitable purposes included in the Objects;
(7)acquire, merge with or to enter into any partnership or joint venture arrangement with any other charity;
(8)set aside income as a reserve against future expenditure but only in accordance with a written policy about reserves;
(9) employ and remunerate such staff as are necessary for carrying out the work of the charity. The charity may employ or remunerate a director only to the extent it is permitted to do so by article 7 and provided it complies with the conditions in that article;
(10)
(a) deposit or invest funds;
(b) employ a professional fund manager; and
(c) arrange for the investments or other property of the charity to be held in the name of a nominee; in the same manner and subject to the same conditions as the trustees of a trust are permitted to do by the
(11) provide indemnity insurance for the directors in accordance with, and subject to the conditions in, section 189 of the Charities Act 2011;
(12) pay out of the funds of the charity the costs of forming and registering the charity both as a company and as a charity.
The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the Charity should undertake.

New Object for Charity:
With the Indian Orphanage and School coming into operation in 2021 the Trustees wanted to spread their charitable work elsewhere around the world and applied for the Object to be widened to cover work elsewhere:

Orphanage in India
The charity made a number of donations listed below to Trinity Life Trust, the sister charity in India for the construction and operation of the school and orphanage, during the operating year to cover the following

Completing access roads continuing the building works

Continuing with construction of roof, rendering, retaining walls, sewage tanks, drainage system

Making further bricks from clay and baking in kiln

Completing stone work, brick paving

Completing Electrical wiring – final stage

Orphanage & School in Liberia
The following is a report from Hope for Liberia, the sister charity through which the Trustees have been working in Liberia:
Delivered between July 2021 and June 2022:

Completion of church hall extension and external finishings; operationalising the church hall for the community and for the children to meet up regularly

Supporting the blind community, with food and study material for children

Supporting the supply and distribution of food to the disabled, disadvantaged and the leper community

Completing the construction of school for 450 children; recruiting teachers, paying their wages, formalising school structure; NOW FULLY OPERATIONAL WITH 425 CHILDREN

Purchasing a school bus (ex American school bus) to bring children from communities that are far from the school area

Finalising plans for orphanage foundation and construction of the main building

Uzima
The funding for the education of children in the remotest part of Kenya through the UK registered Charity "UZIMA IN OUR HANDS"
Total donations of £3,060 was made during the year through monthly donations.
During Covid 19, school was closed but children and their families were continued to be cared. Following the lifting of initial restrictions, temporary accommodation was established to operate under government prescribed social distancing regulations.
Helping Hands Cambodia
Working with HELPING HANDS CAMBODIA, a UK based Registered Charity to establish all age Christian worship in different size Sunday School classes in Cambodia. The initiative started before Covid 19 but was delayed due to the pandemic. A total of £851 was donated during the year for rental accommodation and identifying Sunday School teachers for the future.
Structure, governance and management
The charity is a company limited by guarantee and is registered in the UK.
The trustees haves assessed the major risks to which the Charity is exposed, and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
TO THE TRUSTEES OF NATALIA FAITH GRACE FOUNDATION LTD
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity ("the Charity") for the year ended 30 June 2022, which comprises as an Income Statement, statement of financial position and the notes to the financial statements.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirement of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
-
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair' view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

The company is entitled to the exemption from the audit requirement contained in section 477 of the Companies Act 2006, for the year ended 30 June 2021.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
