Although Covid19 had stifled the work of the charity we are now starting to re-establish the services and ministries. The Charity is now starting to achieve its objectives. During the year ICF has conducted a wide range of activities. These activities include regular weekly Christian religious meetings and services and a number of extra Christian Worship, Bible Study and Discipleship sessions. Rainbow Tot’s parent and toddlers' group was re-established and has seen steady growth over the period of 2022/2023. Building on its excellent track record of supporting local people in need, the Charity re-introduced Free Meal Days for the homeless and the unemployed and elderly etc. again seeing a steady increase in attendance.**

**The Charity is Christian based and has seen growth in membership over the past year along with visitors which means that our volunteer numbers have also grown.**

**The Charity has seen a good increase with its normal donation and tithes/offerings and has successfully secured funding from the National Lottery for Rainbow Totts Parent and Toddler Group and Rothley Trust to build and publish a website. The Charity's support for local families and children has been sustained because our financial situation which is quite healthy. New grant funding is also being sourced to support the Free Meal Days along with other projects.**

**The charity now been successful in securing a ten-year lease on a church building which has become a home and hub for the charity and to facilitate all its present and future activities. However, there is lots of hard work ahead to source funding for renovations needed to bring the building up to date along with funding to sustain the buildings use for the future.**

**More than 300 local people from Shildon and the surrounding County Durham area received charitable support in accordance with the charitable objectives in the year. The Trustees consider this to be a significant level of Public Benefit which will in no doubt increase by the next report.**

**The Trustees reviewed the financial operation and procedures of the Charity during the year and will continue to do this on a yearly basis.**

**The Charity has a Reserves Policy which aims to hold three months' worth of revenue running costs in reserve, to help ensure the Charity can meet its' financial obligations, should ongoing income sources significantly reduce or fail.
