Annual Report of The Trustees of Immanuel Christian Fellowship Year Ending 31[5t] March 2022

Charity Registration Number 1164508

9 Sycamore Square Shildon County Durham DL4 2EN

The Charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with a membership wider than the Trustees. Immanuel Christian Fellowship is an independent Christian Church.

The Trustees of the Charity are:

Richard Smith, Ann Lauraine Smith, Hannah Segalofsky Smalley, Beverley Jayne Galpin and Charlton Gareth Smith

Trustees are recruited from within the membership of the CIO, nominated and voted for at the AGM by simple majority.

Although Covid19 had stifled the work of the charity over the past three years we are now starting to re-establish the services and ministries. The Charity is now starting to achieve its objectives. During the year ICF has conducted a wide range of activities. These activities include regular weekly Christian religious meetings and services and a number of extra Christian Worship, Bible Study and Discipleship sessions. The Charity is also is re-establishing Rainbow Tots parent and toddlers' group for the benefit of the local community. Building on its excellent track record of supporting local people in need, the Charity re-introduced Free Meal Days for the homeless and the unemployed and elderly etc.

The Charity has not had its normal donation and tithes but at the time of compiling this ‘Annual Trustees Report’ we are now back to some form of normality which will reflect in the next report. However, the Charity's support for local families and children will be sustained because of our financial situation which is quite healthy. New grant funding is also being sourced to support the Free Meal Days along with other projects.

The charity is also in the process of securing a ten-year lease on a building solely to be a hub for the charity and to facilitate all its activities. This the charity is hoping to complete by January 2023.

More than 200 local people from Shildon and the surrounding County Durham area received charitable support in accordance with the charitable objectives in the year. The Trustees consider this to be a significant level of Public Benefit which will in no doubt increase by the next report.

The Trustees reviewed the financial operation and procedures of the Charity during the year and will continue to do this on a yearly basis.

The Charity has a Reserves Policy which aims to hold three months' worth of revenue running costs in reserve, to help ensure the Charity can meet its' financial obligations, should ongoing income sources significantly reduce or fail.

The Charity has a Policy of Depreciating Fixed Assets on the following basis:

1. Computer, IT and Presentation Equipment - straight line to zero over three years.

2. General Furniture and Office Equipment - straight line to zero over five years.

3. Play/Activity Related Equipment - straight line to zero over three years.
