This has been another successfvl year for
Team Evie as we conlsnLed our rnission of
supporting sth childr￿. babies and
bereaved f*nI1￿ xross CLJnbria and the
Ntyth East. Alongside maintaining tyjr
esW)lished services, we have devek)ped
projects and partnersttip5 th* have
enabled us lo extend our support and reach
more I￿$1￿ than ever before.
Throughout the year. we prowded over 500
familEs with Parent Bags when their child
was transferred by sp￿181181 ambulance to
Ne*¥caslk for emergency treatment. We
also distributed rn0￿ th* 300 Bobby's Little
Explorer Bags, working closety wrth the
0￿uPat￿naI Therapy tewn at the Great
North Chibafen's Hospital to support
children'5 wsc¥y devekwmerrt during
extended hospital 51ays.
| Our Speckal Care Baby Unil Bags continue
to te prowded to every famity admitted to
the neonatal units in ￿rtehaVen and
CadisSe, ensuriro parents rtteive practical
and emotional SUPFOrt during what 1$ often
an unexpected and chalknging time.
Our Peer Support Semce ha5 eonlinued to
grcvi. supporting an increasing nuFnber of
bereaved pa￿nIS thftxjgh trained volunteer
Peer Sup[￿rs wilh lived eXper￿nCe.

Over recent years. the trustees have
exptored c4)IK)ns lo establish deduted
prerni￿ that woukj prOV￿e respite
at￿mmOdatiOn for bereaved families
a￿951de office lacilrties for Ihe ¢haTIty.
Initial proposals were expected to require
capital investment In excess of £100,000.
During the year, an cpportunity arose to
partner with Patterdale Hall to provide
affordable accommodat￿n for famrfies, while
a separ*e partnership enab￿ the charity to
secure off￿e space. Together, these
arrangements have enabled the eharty Io
these strategic cèjeclive$ at a
frxtron of the anliapated cost, representing
excellent value for the charty and alltrwing
more frjnds to be direelèj to)ward$ frontline
support.
The chartty also estsbli5hed a new coiporate
partnership wrth Trust Ford in Carli4le This
partnership enab￿ the charity to upgrade
ts vehicle. significanlty wnproving Its
capacity and capability lo deliver services
across the iegi)n. TrLtsI Ford has also
commrtted lo ¢onlinuiNJ Ihe partnership,
provtding confitlence in future f nancial
support and In￿aSed opportunities for
commlinity engagement.
