The aims of the Trust are to advance the Chrisan Faith in partnership with the "Ascension Trust" through:

(i) the provision of public pastoral care services to help people on the streets, in schools and in other public places, giving guidance, support and signposng which assist in preserving public order, avoid an-social behaviour, relieve sickness and preserve health; and by

(ii) enlightening others about Chrisanity through raising awareness and understanding of ecclesiascal relevance to community and public life, mobilizing the Church ecumenically to unity of worship and to advance the Chrisan Faith by carrying out the mission and outreach work of the Gospel for the benefit of the public.

4. Acvies

There has been very lile acvity during the year. The pilot scheme providing support to shops aer schools finish for the day was concluded during the year. We have reviewed the project, and whilst there had been some significant benefits, we have decided not to proceed further with it as it was felt to be developing in a way that did not meet the objecves of the organisaon.

We have recruited some new school pastors at the end of the year who are in the process of receiving their training. They and the exisng School Pastors are going to be operaonal in the West Somerset College again following the half term holiday in February 2025. They will be helping youngster who need more confidence in reading and also offering a listening ear to those who are struggling with anxiety. The students who will benefit will be those idenfied as being most in need of these intervenons by the college staff.

5. Finances

year was £904 and expenditure for the year was £1,523. Total funds at the end of December 2024 were £6,362.
