It was decided at a<br>meeting to aid in purchasing reusable PPE<br>for the Emergency Medical Technicians to<br>use in Nepal. This provided them with a<br>high level of protection to prevent infection,<br>reducing burden of disease on the workers.<br>This had the additional benefit of reducing<br>the number of sick hours if there was an<br>infection.<br>The ongoing work of the Nepal Ambulance<br>Service has led to local funding in<br>Kathmandu and the spreading of the<br>organisation cross Nepal.|
