Agape Nepali Church UK is affiliated to the Nepalese Christian Community UK Network. A national network of Nepalese Churches located throughout the UK.

The Trust is in the covering Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Risk Management. All of which will be reviewed annually.

Section C Objectives and activities

The advancement of the Christian faith primarily within the Nepalese, Indian and Bhutan communities in Rochdale and surrounding areas and throughout England and Wales.

The Charity was formed 11thNovember 2015 with the election of a board
of Trustees and the adoption of a formal constitution.
To meet our charity objective -
The Charity hired a meeting room for Sunday Church Services achieving
a regular attendance of more than 20, made up of people from a number
of different nationalities. The attendees are mainly from the Rochdale
area.
The church meets every Sunday for teaching and worship followed by
lunch together. There are midweek meetings arranged when required.
Every Sunday the congregation shares food together helping people to
grow into community. As a result, a number of people in the church and
also the wider community in hardship, have been helped, including those
with financial and emotionally needs.
Agape Nepali Church UK hired Hebron Pentecostal church in Rochdale
and provided food for two national conferences. These had attendances
of up to 200 delegates from Nepalese Churches from across the UK.
During the period from 11thNovember 2015 to 30th Jun 2021 Agape
Nepali Church UK made charitable gifts to support a Church Pastor in
Chitwan Nepal and a Pastor in India
Following negotiation with Hebron Pentecostal Church, Rochdale. Agape
Nepali Church UK entered into an agreement to share their building for
Sunday Services.
From February 2016 all Sunday Services have been held at Hebron
Pentecostal Church and Christian Centre, Falinge Road, Rochdale.

Because of covid 19 we have not had any church service in church buildings since 2020-jun2021. Instead, we have organized online video calls on zoom for church meeting and worship, as safety precautions.

There are no paid members of staff. All work for the charity is carried out by volunteers.

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

At its launch Agape Nepali Church UK achieved a regular attendance of more than 35, made up of people from a number of different nationalities. The attendees are mainly from the Rochdale area. The church has provided teaching and worship and Sunday lunch for up to 20 people each week.

The Church has arranged a number of midweek meetings.

A number of people in hardship with various needs have been supported and helped.

Charitable gifts have been made to support a Church Pastor in Chitwan Nepal and a Pastor in India An agreement has been made with Hebron Pentecostal Church, Rochdale to share their building for Sunday Services.

Plans are in place to continue to increase the number of people attending the church. To further develop the churches ability to help and assist people in hardship in the area.

In 2021 Agape Nepali Church UK plans to host at least one National Nepalese Church Conference on the Zoom.
