On Sunday mornings we have preached
through the following series: John’s
letters, Esther and Galatians.
At the monthly Sunday evening service
we have had various sermons from John,
Mark and Proverbs.
In addition we have had a number of one-
off sermons.
Benedict Allmand-Smith (Trinity Baptist
Church, Charlesworth); Walter Johnston
(Chorlton Evangelical Church) and Stuart
Lythgoe (Open Air Mission) have come to
us this year as guest preachers.
In September, Zeph and Wema came to
our morning service with Ruth Chorley,
and Zeph gave us an update about the
work in Tanzania.
We completed monthly afternoon studies
looking at Revelation, and are currently
studying a series on ‘The Controversy of
Free Will’
Our Sunday children’s ministry (JIGSAW)
has continued almost every week this
year. We have continued to use The
Biggest Story curriculum.| |---|---| We have been encouraged by mid-week Bible studies (now Wednesday evening and repeated the following Thursday morning) and have studied the following Biblical books: Job, 2 Timothy, Amos and are currently studying Ephesians. During 2025, our monthly outreach in Norfolk Square on Wednesday and Saturday has continued In January we launched a monthly afternoon Gospel Service at Gamesley Community Centre. Lunchtime Bible Club has continued weekly in Charlesworth School. In March and May and November the pastor led an open worship assembly for the whole of Charlesworth school. For Easter we gifted all the children at Charlesworth School a copy of “The Friends and the Traveller” book retelling the story of the road to Emmaus, and at Christmas ‘The most special Christmas night’. The pastor attended the School Leavers’ assembly in July when we gave each child a New Testament. At Easter and Christmas we produced and delivered gospel leaflets in Charlesworth, Chisworth, Gamesely, etc. advertising our services. The charities to benefit from our tithing in 2025 were Barnabas Aid, Christian Institute, Farming Christian Link, Image, International Mission to Jewish People, Manchester City Mission, Open Air Mission, Tanzania (UK) Trust. Each charity would share the funds in equal measure. Over the last 12 months, we have also given additional financial donations to Barnabas (collected by JIGSAW), Tanzania (UK) Trust, and IMJP. We prayerfully supported personnel as they outreached with Farming Christian Link at a number of agricultural shows. We were able to send out a number of shoeboxes via Operation Christmas Child this year and we have continued to support our two Compassion children Briggit and Mateo through prayer, finance and correspondence. In 2025 we have had 0 funeral services, 1 graveside service, 0 burials, 1 burial of ashes, no scattering of ashes and 1 wedding. ## **Additional information (optional)** You may choose to include further statements where relevant about: ||Achievements against
