HEALTH INITIATIVES This year. Akaal Aid prioritized health by providing critical medical assistance to nine patients facing serious illnesses. Our interventions, ranging from funding complex surgeries to long-term 'rftreatments. not only saved lives but also alleviated the emotional and financial burden on families. This strengthens the community's ability to cope tlyith future health challenges.
EMPOWERING ARRIAGES Understanding the cultural and financial hurdles to marriage in underprivileged communities. Akaal Aid facilitated weddings for 31 young women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This support helped families manage traditional marriage ceremony expenses, ensuring these celebrations could occur with financlal stability. 31 YOUNG WOMEN
WATERACCESSIBILITY PROJECTS Il To address the critical issue of water scarcity, Akaal Aid successfully installed six borewells in drought-stricken regions. These projects now provide clean, consistent water access to over 5,000 individuals. This significantly reduces the burden on women and children who traditionally bear the responsibility of collecting water over long distsnces. SUPPORT FOR THE DISABLED Our dedication to inclusivity and aiding people with dlsabllities was underscored through the distribution of 350 handicapped tricycles. EMPLOYMENT AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT In a bid to boost women's economlc opportunities, Akaal Ald dlstrlbuted 40 sewing machines to women in the Sikligar community. DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS Akaal Aid's swift response to natural disasters is evident in our Involvement following the earthquake In Turkey and the floods in Punjab. We provided Immediate relief services, Including essential supplies and community kltchens (langars), dlrectly benefltlng over 10,000 individuals. CULTURALAND SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT Demon8tratlng our commlknent to cultural pr880rvatlon and spiritual growth. Akaal Aid organized a pilgrimage from the UK to Nankana Sahib. Pakistsn-the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. COMMUNITY AND RELIGIOUS DEVELOPMENIF, In a significant undertaking to promote spiritual growth and community cohesion, Akaal Aid completed the construction of Gurdwara Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji in Guru Nanak Colony. Kumtha. Spanning over 4,285 square feet. this new Gurdwara serves as a vital religious and cultural hub for hundreds of Sikligar Vanjara Sikh families.
