The Foundation's was set up by the will of the igte Mt Roman Gumi08ki for general chatitable

In ]ine with advice from the Charity CornmAssiot4 the Foundation is set up as a genernl cbatity.
The tmstees ate maknog doaations to ch￿1t{e$ suppotting health, people iti need aad heiitage
*ctivktie8. Mindfid of the tequcst l¢ft in Guminski's and attached letter of wishes which
indicated his wishes regarding donations to be made, the ttustees decided on A number of
donalions to be made d￿Ing 2024 to sevetal UK chatities.
Mt Guminski's p3tUcuJat desire was th#t the Foundation support people who had been deprived
of theit piopety tmder comthuoist government in Poland. As such quite significant efforts again
continued to be made by tbe trnstees duting 2024 to ptovide financial support for efforts to
establish a legal basis on which iestitution could be made Und￿ Polish law and iu-linc with
Europeart human rights practices.
All income 0£ the Fouudation is ptovided by the capital d¢riving from Mt Gurninski's estate, and
no fither fiind-raising Activities are cootempl2ted. The tmst¢es' policy is to iavest dLiS
endowment entitely in htgh-int¢test cxrning insdwnents. Most of the Foundation's capital
remained in a higher interest d¢posit company" fvture donations will be znade ptiacip2lly from
retums based on investtnent earned income. The 2024 bank account edmed a small amount OE
interest incorne, while th¢ ]arger iov¢stttLent arrangement #t 2 /0 which was inittated during 2016
has Arttetest continuing to iccn]e.
The ttustees do not considet that the Foundation is exposed to any major Aisks.
At the end OE the period the Foundation had fithds of £277,779, and the net movement in funds
tetsined for the yeaz vns a deficit of £ 34,130. There ivere no testticted fi￿ds.
