The CIO is autonomous but is guided in national policy by the umbrella organisation of 4x4 Response UK. 

Trustees communicated by way of instant messaging facilities and dedicated online area solely for the trustees of the charity and online meetings due to Covid.

We provide support to the emergency services and their associated bodies, and to charities and other voluntary groups, by providing trained personnel, vehicles and equipment in situations of adverse weather or of logistical problems necessitating the use of four-wheel-drive vehicles.

At North West 4x4 Response we are dedicated to training our members, covering off-road driving, first aid and water safety; all to nationally certified standards. 

We have a dedicated events team which can assist with a range of logistical and support needs for events, from car parking and traction assistance.
