## **ANNUAL REPORT 2020/2021** ## **The Charity’s Governing Document** The Charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, with governing documents based on the Foundation model constitution from the Charity Commissioners. It registered on the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1164302 on 9th Nov 2015. We are a member of the Trussell Trust and work to their operating guidelines. ## **List of Trustees** Mr Derek Ashcroft; Mr Jerry Broxholme, Revd Richard Preston; Mrs Kathryn Harwood Mr Mick Mann The trustees have delegated day-to-day responsibility to the Foodbank Steering Group. ## **Bankers** National Westminster Bank, Southway, Skelmersdale WN8 6LD Transferred to Co-operative Online Banking July 2021 ## **Objects of the charity** The Objects of the CIO are: To relieve persons in West Lancashire and the surrounding area that are in financial hardship in such ways as the trustees from time-to-time think fit, in particular, but not exclusively by: (1) Providing emergency food, essential toiletries, and household items to individuals and families in need and/or for distribution by charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. We currently run 3 drop in centres: Ecumenical Centre Northway Skelmersdale **OPENING TIMES:** Mon 11:00 - 13:00 & Thu 10:00 - 12:00 Oak House 6 Elmridge Tanhouse Skelmersdale **OPENING TIMES:** Fri 12:00 - 14:00 Trinity Methodist Church High Street Old Skelmersdale **OPENING TIMES** Wed 10:00 - 12:00 In a challenging year we have been grateful for continued generous financial and food donations which has enabled the charity to work. Awards grants have enabled the employment of a part time Project Manager, Distribution Manager and Warehouse Manager. Having our own van has enabled the more efficient use of resources and networking opportunities. Our volunteer team continues to strengthen. We look forward to offering face to face support once more as the pandemic crisis eases. ## **Priorities for 2021/22** To continue to meet the objectives of our Foodbank.
