Performance Review 2. Financial report and approval. **Discussions and Resolutions** ## **1. Performance Review** OSG’s has been doing a range of activities in the year 2021/22. As usual, thanks to Dr Trevor’s effort, collection of data and research has taken place. Those reports are made available to all relevant bodies including the UN Human Rights bodies and other statutory organizations. Moreover, based on the human rights situation and appalling events unfolding in Oromia-Ethiopia OSG has published press releases, and participated in an event that has been conducted over via zoom over several weeks. The latest of the activities aimed to create understanding and tolerance and more importantly to create an atmosphere in which people could cooperate and everyone’s right is fully respected. The OSG website became a solid platform where information is shared with the people. That is another encouraging sign for the improvement of OSG’s performance. The following reports were published and subsequently made available on OSG’s website. The following are major reports: - Report 55, April 2021, Ethnic cleansing in Amhara Region; collapse of democracy and rule of law; attacks in Guliso; massacre of migrants in Yemen - Report 56, June 2021, Slaughter and burning in Oromia. - Report 57, September 2021, a very extensive and moving report based on empirical evidence prepared on the backdrop of catastrophic tragic events that followed the statement of a politician who said “If you want to completely get rid of the fish, you need to dry up the ocean. Fekadu Tessema, Prosperity Party, Oromia branch. Oromia Regional Parliament meeting, Adama, 27 February 2021” - Report 58, December 2021, entitled “Sacrilege in East Showa: Ethnic cleansing by Amhara supremacists as Ethiopia collapses into chaos. This report includes, among others the execution of Abbagadas. - Report 59, 4[th] April 2022, entitled “Beware of Genocide”. OSG representatives has done extensive work to inform international Organisations who are concerned about the state of human rights globally and government representatives who could play a positive role or find ways to alleviate the ongoing human rights and human humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia. As was in the previous year, every effort has been made to disseminate the reports, press releases and make it available to the media, particularly Oromo medias such as FNN, OMN and Kello. The aim of this is to educate the people and elicit discussion among the public on how to end the human rights abuses in Ethiopia. Furthermore, OSG tried to organise public events to discuss and raise awareness of Oromos and other people on the current state of human rights situation on Ethiopia. As human rights crisis continues escalating in Oromia-Ethiopia, , more effort has been devoted to compiling data, preparing reports and organising events to create awareness. There were no expenses incurred and no revenues generated during the financial year. All of the activities of OSG during the financial year were conducted by volunteers and trustees. ## **2. Election and Resolution** It has been discussed and resolved that the existing trustees, with one new addition and replacing one previous member, shall continue as trustees in the coming year. Accordingly, 1. Dr. Trevor Trueman was reelected as a chairman, 2. Mr. Amin Abdella reelected secretary, 3. Mr. Abdulwasi Ahmed reelected as a treasurer, 4. Mr. Abebe Iticha reelected as member without portfolio, 5. Mr. Demisse Tullu reelected as member, 6. Mr. Teshale Aberra reelcted as member without portfolio and to continue as trustees with their responsibilities. 7. Mr. Mirkana Abdata, replacing Mr. Jora Furi, has been elected as a new addition to the trustees and will work as a member without portfolio effective immediately. ## **3. Financial Report** Following this report members are presented with the financial report, copy attached. Members have looked at the financial report and have unanimously approved both annual and financial report.
