## West Country Bullie Walks Trustees Annual Report – April 2024 March 2025 Charity No 1164278

Aims and Objectves To relieve the suffering and distress of Bull Terriers in UK rescues which are in need by reason of sickness, maltreatment or poor circumstances. To promote humane behaviour towards animals, specifically Bull Terriers, by providing appropriate care, treatment and security for animals, specifically Bull Terriers, which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment or ill usage and to educate the public in matters pertaining to the welfare of animals, specifically Bull Terriers and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among Bull Terriers.

2024 was a successful year for West Country Bullie Walks.

We have continued to have a great following with supporters and donations enabling us to continue helping Bull Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers in UK rescues. We held auctions and received donations which enabled us to keep up the good work our members are doing so we can help the many rescues.

Our biggest fundraiser was the Bullie Bash again held at Holiday Resort Unity. The following we have at this event is unbelievable. Bull Terriers from Scotland, Penzance and everywhere in-between. The farthest travelled Bull Terrier came from Austria. Animal charities attended and had stalls which raised them much needed funds. A live band this year was well received.

We continued to hold walks each month around the West Country which brought in a steady flow of funds as did the raffles and merchandise. Donations from individuals and companies helped us continue with our support of Bull Terriers and Staffordshire’s.

Our good reputation that we have built over the years continues which has helped donations come in from other parts of the country and has helped raise funds through the auctions we have put on and other virtual events on facebook

Our growing membership has enabled us to help with home checks, rehoming and transporting dogs to new homes.

Thanks go to all the WCBW trustees, members and supporters who have help our continued success.
