			During the spring, the trustees took the	difficult decision			to	delay opening
			the pool. Itthen became apparent that uncertainty with the scope ofrelaxation ofCovid-19 restrictions and regulations,					timing and that opening
			for a restricted period on a restricted basis would		put	the	lang-term
			viability ofthe pool at risk. Hence we did not open the pool					at all for the
			2020 season.
			Plant
			The committee has been overwhelmed	by the generous			response			to our
			fundraising by the public. The fundraising raised		E3,652		toward the			target
			off5000 for the replacement ofthe condemned		gas	boiler.
			Early in 2021,the gas boiler installation	was deferred		to	reflect our
			intention to reduce our carbon footprint,	we are pending			a decision			on
			installing an electric boiler or additional/replacement			air source heat
			pumps.

			The committee would like to thank the	many organisations				in the	local
			community for their fundraising efforts	over the year.

			2021 Season
			In Feb/March 2021 the trustees agreed	that the	pool	would open			for the
			2021 season, and immediately commenced planning			for opening				in May
			2021.
