**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:A) THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE;B) THE SERVICE OF THE POOR OF CHRIST AND THE CARE OF THE SICK AND WOUNDED; ANDC) THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION AND THE PROMOTION OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP IN YOUNG PEOPLE (ESPECIALLY THOSE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 17 TO 29 YEARS), IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF PROGRAMMES OF TRAINING AND ACTIVITY IN RELATION TO THE FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTS SET OUT IN (A) AND (B) ABOVE;AND IN FURTHERING THE OBJECTS THE TRUSTEES SHALL UPHOLD THE VALUES OF THE ORDER OF MALTA, AS ENCAPSULATED IN THE MOTTO SO FAR AS THIS IS NOT INCONSISTENT EITHER WITH THESE OBJECTS OR WITH THEIR DUTIES AS CHARITY TRUSTEES.

**Activities:** (a)relief of those in need, by reason of age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage; (b)service of the poor, the sick and wounded; and (c) advancement of religion and the promotion of good citizenship in young people. In furthering the Objects the Trustees uphold the values of the Order of Malta so far as this is consistent with these Objects and with their duties as charity trustees.
