Worshlp and Splrltual
Weekly s¢rvices were open to anyone at Church and relay¢d via Zoom to members and fri¢nd8
unable to b¢ present. Duiing the pastoral vacancy services have been led by visiting preachers and
our Blders. The variety of style and approach bas enhan¢ed our worship, and w¢ are gratefijl for
their ongoing 8UPPOrt.
An Elder led two short sessions of Bible study which were ¢onducted via Zoorn and were also
translated for our Farsi speakers.
We were delighted to have h new Elder ele¢ted at the AGM, our Interim Moderator, Rev Josh
Kane, led th¢ Induction service.
Pastoral
The Elders oversee the pastoral care for tnembers And friends, ensuring that th05¢ who would
normally be visited by ths minister are not overlooked. We h&ve opportunity for Meeting together
fter the service for tea and ¢off¢e. We had a 'bring and share lunch ' following our annual
Dedication Service, Two members gave an open invitation to Afternoon T¢a in their homes.
We run a 'Games Afternoon, twice a montb with the Chinese Church that worships in our building,
d they invite us to their monthly shared lunch.
Our Safeguarding policy was reviewed.
Ecumenl¢al
W¢ maintain links with London Baptists and Thames North Province of the United Reformed
Church (URC) . Representatives attend North London Local Area Group (NLLAG) , URC Synod
and London Baptists AGM.
We maintain our strong links with Churches Together in Finchley (cfiF). We hosted their Lenten
study, and took part in the services on Good Friday, Pentecost and Advent.
Wg support the 'Warni Space ' initiative by CTIF at another Church by providing volunt¢ers
ov¢r the six months it operates. We are pleased to report that this weekly meeting has more regular
attendees than last year. 'Warm Space ' is also linked tti Barnet Age UK
In the autumn Trinity hosted a Prayer Labyrinth, which CTIF agreed to include in their pro8ramme.
This was 8UPPOrted enthusiastically by St Mary at Finchlgy CE in its con¢eption and, along with
Trinity and th¢ North LondonAlliance Church (Chinese), provided volunteers to staff it. Over three
days there were forty visitors who walked the labyrinth and participated in other quiet activities.
People from seven local churches and non churth people attended,. this wa8 a new experience for
many and the response was favourable.
Over Christmas Trinity and St Margaret's URC, Finchlcy shared worship for the Carol Serrvice,
Christmas eve Midnight Comrnunion and Christmas Day- when Catholics from a local church
found theirs locked came and joined us.
For the final service in 2024 Trinity joined the Chinese Chll￿h to thank God for his blessing and
was led in Bnglish, Cantonese and Farsi.
Missfion and Ev4ngellsm
Our worship is availabl¢ to anyone and all ar¢ welcome, We encourage members to attend servi¢¢s,
Bible study and to sGrv¢ within th¢ churGh and in the wider community,
We support a local food bal￿ through the year but particularly with gifts at Harvest.
The congregation bring gtfts at Christmas for New Citizens Gateway (formerly Bamet Re￿gee
Sei'vice).
