## **Achievements and Performance**

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Construction (and repair) of hand operated<br>and solar boreholes in several states.<br>Provision of emergency relief to the victims of<br>the severe flood that occurred along the<br>Upper Niger River in Nigeria. We delivered<br>food parcels, medical packs and assisted in<br>shelter needs.<br>Education: We currently run six centres,<br>supporting children particularly orphans<br>who would otherwise not have access to<br>education. We aim to embed a culture of<br>learning and support integration back into<br>mainstream schools.<br>Orphans: We continue to invest in orphans,<br>providing shelter, education and emotional<br>support.<br>Empowerment: The programme has been<br>transformative<br>for<br>those<br>supported,<br>equipping them with the skills to become self-<br>sufficient.<br>Health: As a response to the COVID-19<br>pandemic, we set up two emergency response<br>work streams focusing on safety awareness<br>training and providing emergency relief to<br>those facing the greatest risk.<br>Food distribution: We  continue  to provide<br>food  supply in  hard  to  reach  areas  and run<br>soup  kitchens  in  various locations.|
