Connecting Steps Manchester is a charity project which aims to provide a safe space for the BAME community. Our aim here at Connecting Steps Manchester is to empower the BAME community, with activities ranging from coffee mornings, Education, training, Cultural festive, translating, workshops to raise awareness and promote mental health & well being.

Objects: 2.1 To Advance The Edcuation And Training Of The Recently Arrived Communities Within Greater Manceshter So As To Develop Their Capacities And Assist Them To Adapt Within Their Community Who Most Commonly Present A Lack Of Competency In English, High Employment And Low Achievement In Education2.2 The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation In Greater Manchester, With A Focus On Those From The Simali Community, For Persons Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social Or Economic Circumstances In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving Condition Of Life2.3 The Rleief Of Poverty And Need For Members Of The Somalis Community Including Women, Asylum Seekers, Migrant Workers And Their Dependents Living In Greater Manchester By Providing Interpreting, Translation, Advocacy, Advice And Education Services.2.4 The Relief Of Poverty, Sickness And Distress, And The Advancement Of Education In Somalia Or Elsewhere In East Africa, By Providing Donated Second Hand Clothes As Well As Schgool Supplies Eg Books
