Introductlon
East Suffolk Prostate CarKer Support Group {ESPCSG) is 8 registered CIO chanty whose aims are to
provide supKort, inf0rnat￿n and help to all men with prostate cancer. their families and carers and was
fomed so that they can meet together to find out more aLK>uI their illness and what treatments or SUPFM)rt

Essex Hosprtal Trust. Ipswich. for all prostate cancer pat￿nIS in East Suffolk catchment area. We have
between 40 to 50 members attending these meetings usually. this was down slightly on previous years

Our meetings are hekj in The Lecture Theatre, Education Centre, Ipswich Hosprtal for patients and their
carers at 7pm on the first Wednesday of attemate months February. April. June. August, October and
December. We were again able to hokl all meetings this year at this venue.
All members are kept informed of meetings or events by post. email or the infomiation is on our webs¢te.
At each meeling we had a speaker, mainly from the medical profession. followed by refreshments and
an opportunity to have a useful exchange of experiences rf anybody wishes. in an open and friendly
atmosphere.

the Ipswich area.
We donated £1000.00 to one other charity with 8 connectK>n to Prostate Cancer. we also spent £7060 to
sponsor 353 men so they could have a PSA blood test to check rf they may have Prostate Cancer for
£20 each.
Fundlng
We received £3278 from collections. donat￿8, raflles and refreshments. We do not have any
subscriptions for membership. We have not recerv8d any other funding.
