Women in Wal¢s is a registered chaiity set up as a Charitablc Incorporated Organisation {CE054521 in O¢tob¢r
2015 to raise funds with an ov¢ryiding aim to support chai'ities providing help to children in Engl￿1d and Wales.
Women in Wales n)ainly raises funds thmuBh 311 annual luncheon. The first luncheon wa5 held in 1992 and over
the past 25 yeaiE tlie ¢vent has generated income of mor¢ than £800,000, which has been donated to Save the
Childreft projects its England and Wales.
The lun¢lieon is now attend¢d by more thaii 400 ivomeD every year. The trustees of the cliarity eoniprisB of a
team of dedicated profrssTonal women who work throiighoul tht y¢a]' to oi'ganise tlic lllncheDtJ. This not only
involves the futtdriiising activities on thc day itself, but also secujing slipport from cojyoixte organi5ation4 who
SPDDsor the ev¢nt or advertise in the event pl￿gramme.
