Thè C2C Teaching ANIan￿ was fO￿e£l in March 2013 irh its subsidiary company. C2C Alliance Limited and the
trade was tranSfe￿d to C2C Teaching Alliance on 4 Decernber 2015. C2C Teaching Alliance is
MuEtF Al￿anCe teaching charsty consisting of three schools (two outstanding and good) who each have had
thew own texhin9 school status to the rfrdesignation of leaching schools by the DfE in 2020. In addition
to Ihis Ihe alliance ha5 a number of other outstanding and g(M)d schools a5 it5 partners and 15 rapidly
expanding. During this time we have suc(*ssfulty developed ITT School Oirecl students working wrthin the
311iènce. We have also developed the sc*ool to school support that we offer and are engaged in supporh'ng a
number of Schools and have a track record of the highfy effecb'¥* imm of that support. We also offer CPD for
English and Maths and for Sen1￿ leadefs.

1.1 Ba$1$ of preyrntlon of financial statements
The fjnancial statements have been prepated in accordance with Accounilng and Reporting by
Charities.. Slaternenl of Recommended Pra￿lce applicable to Charil￿S preparing their accounts in
cordance vnth the Finantyal Reporting Standard athicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland
IFRS 1021 issued in Octtsber 2019, the Finanoal ReF￿1n9 Standard applicable in the UK and
RepublK of Ireland IFRS 102). th9 CharilE$ Ad 2011. the comp￿￿$ Act 2006 and UK Generally
Accepted Accountsng Practice.
C2C Teaching Alliance meets the defmitton of a public benefit entty under FRS 102. A55els and
liabilities are initially recognised at histor￿1 cosl or transadion value unless otherwise staled in the
relevant accoLmting policy.
The fjnancwl slalements presenl informalion about ihe chanty as an indiwdual undertakin9 and not
about its group. charity has a subs•Jiary undertaking which has not traded during the currenl or
prior year. The company has therefore taken advantage of the exemptions afforded by sect￿￿
405(2) of the Companies Act 20C6 not to prepare group a¢¢ounts on the bases that the inclusion of
the charity's subsidiary is not material for the purposes of giving a true and fair Mew.
The charity has apk4ieil Update Bulletin 1 a5 publis1￿d on 2 February 2016 and does nol indude a
cash flow statement.
The financial slatements are presented in pounds sterting which is the functional currèncy (rf the
charity and rounded lo the nearest pound.

has adequate rèsources to conts.nue in 0￿ratIonal exislenee for the foreseeable future. For this
reason they continue lo adopl the g￿ThJ concern basis in preparing the financial statements.

General funds are un￿Stricted fvnds whith are available for use al the di5uelion of the Trustees in
rtherance of the general objecth'ves of the company and which have not been designated for other
pU￿iSeS.
Restricled funds are funds wh¢ch are to be used in accordance with specific restriction5 imposed by
donors or whi¢h have been raised by the ¢onpany foi part¥￿tar purKX)ses. The costs of raising and
administering such funds are tharged against Ihe spe¢ific lund. The airn arKI usè of each ￿$tricted
