## CHAIRMAN’S REPORT FOR AGM 

Another Covid affected year, but the light is beginning to appear at the end of the tunnel, hopefully. 

For a time, we met using Zoom but now we are back face to face. 

We gained two new trustees, Jan and Angela, and confirmed our patron the Lord Lieutenant of the County, Nigel Atkinson. 

The unsuccessful application for the John Merrick Trust made us consider our aims and objectives as did the debate about the purchase of the stand up boards make us re confirm our attitude towards assets and ownership. 

The loss of two boards raised the debate about our relationship with the RSYC and insurance. The range of active sites was expanded by the addition of the Spinnaker Sailing Club. We also considered adding other areas to our current groups of Young carers. 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our current Trustees for the skills and enthusiasm they have brought to the Trust which should carry us forward as our activities expand. 

We need to continue to encourage all our helpers and the planned training day should help us share an understanding of our activities and the responsibilities involved.
