Structure, Governance and Management The IrLJSt is a registered charity number 1163984 and is constituted under a Trust Deed dated 23 May 2014. The trust was established by the Sharif brothers, in memory of their lather Mr Mohammed Sharif. Subsequently, in July 2017, Mr Khalid Sharif, one of the tounding trustees sadly passed away. policies and procedures adopted for the induction and tralning of Irustees; the charity's organisational structure and any wider network with which the charity works., relationship with any related parties- trustees, consideration of major risks and the system and procedures lo manage them. New trustees ale appointed by the existing trustees by way of resolution passed at a meeting as provided under the 2014 trust deed. The trust deed providès lor a minimum of Iwo and a maximum of seven trustees at any time. Mr Usman Khalid Sharif was appointed as a Trustee in April 2018. There is currently no fomal induction or training lor new trustees, however new Iruslees would be provided with a copy of the trust deed. All decisions made by the trustees are via a simple majority as set out in the trust deed. The trustees hold meetings on a biannual basis lo consider strategy and review the trust's grant making and other objectives. Trustees are required lo disclose all relevanl interests in accordance wilh the Trust's Conflict of Interest Policy and to withdraw from any decisions where a conflict of interest arises. No trustee remuneralion is paid. Risk Management The trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity is exposed and to ensure appropriate controls are in place lo provide reasonable assurance against fraud and error. Section C Ob"ectives and activities The objects of the trust are lo benefil such charitable purposes or such other registered charities that fall within the law of England and Wales and in such proportions and in such manner and subject to such terms or condilions as the Iruslees in their absolute discretion think fit from time to time. Grants are considered by all trustees on a regular basis throughout the year while having regard to the trust's aims and objectives. Section D Achievements and erformance Summary of the maln achievements of the charity during the year During the year lo 30 April 2022, the trust made donations lo other charitable bodies of £94,500. Applications are made in writing or via email and are considered on an individual case basis. The trust will assess applications by charitable organisations, and these will be considered on their merits in accordance with the Charity's areas of int8rest as outlined in the objectives. The trust has particularly supported Medicines Sans FronlièreslDoclors Without Borders IMSFI. This organisation helps people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare. The trust has also supported a youth zone charity for some lime now. This charity works with the young people in deprived areas like Barking and Dagenham and the donation has helped lo keep the youth occupied during the pandemic. The trust has received a positive feedbacks from all the recipients. Section E Financial review The total funds carried forward al the end ol the year, 30 April 2022 were £3,865. The trustees aim to continue with the level ol grants made during the year anlicipaling that the level of donations received will be sufficient to meet the applications. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 30/04/2022. Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
