To advance the restoration, preservation and conservation of the historic Ainscough Mill barges, Ambush and Viktoria, from their fleet of 9 boats, for the benefit of the general public. To provide information on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and its relationship with Ainscough's Mill, the barges and the community along its corridor from Wigan to Liverpool.
