the worfd. This induded a combination of subsidised and pro bono consultsnry. donor stewardship. mentoring,
and tailDred trainin8 - olfered to both rwstered and unregistered initl3tives whose charitable goals reflect our
commitment to education. collaboration. and purposeful action. Through thi5 SUPPOrt. we helped strengthen the
capacity. resilience. and impact of thangemakers working auoss a range of sooal and en¥ironmentsl challenges.
We supported the incubation of two new charities. and two Communsty Interest Companies ICICS). as well as
guiding rjne of our partners through the process of winding down its operations. Our straiegi¢, govemance. and
fundraising advice was complemented by our team and Trustee5 offering additional voluntary support to these
organisations a5 rnent0￿ and board mernbers.

and economic discrimination.
14. Young Filrn Acaderny, a UK not-for-profit company whith provides filmmaking courses. filmmaking
programmes for schools. community filmmaking projett5. filmmaking outreach events and kids film
parties to youn8 people 38ed 5-19. Prospero World specifically adopted them to support their Project
Paradiso.

tool for positive social chan8e. 14MM's first projert, the short film 11 Moro (the Moorl won the Oscar
Qualifying Reel Sisters Film Festival and was in the 2024 Academy Award Race.

KAI. a UK not-for-profit company established to support current and future Marine Protected Are35 by
helpin8 them to attess appiopriate technologies. solutions and parbberships. This will allow them to set
up and support monitoring more qui£kty and robustty and increase Ocean literacy.
Prospero Wodd continued w run online fundraisin8 campaigns on behalf of its Adopted Charities. In totsl,
Prospero Wodd received donations of c. £524.940 in support of its Adopted Charities in 2024.
Prospero Wortd continued to manage rts Donor Advised Fund. The prirnary Donor Advised Fund is a restrirted
fund. designated principally in support of educational progtsmmes and famify support services. During the
accounting period grants of £112.(MIO were made to 9 charitable projects working locally. nationally and
intemabonally in the fields of education. SEND, and youthlfamily support services. An additsonal £53,OLK) was
restricted for distribution to 3 charitie5 in the fields of education and SEND in 2025.

The Trustees met three times by Zoom during the year and held regular electronic discussions.
Prospera Wodd has bèen in continual contatt with its tharitsble partners throughout the year. to monitor their
work and income 5tream5. asse55 in what way Prospero World may help thern. and undertake regular reviews to
ensure the organisational wellbeing of Prospero Wodd itself.
We are extremely 8fateful to our donors indudin8 the Garfield Weston Foundation who made a generou$ grant of
£40,(th towards our CO￿ Costs in 2024_ Funding for our CO￿ work was instrumental in enabling us to continue
delivering our vital services, supporting the 8r¢)wth and impact of our worl Support for our CO￿ work from

our organisation. underscoring the trust and tonfidente placed in our mission.
Reserves Policy and Risk Management
The Charity's financial reserves at the year end were £371.190 12023 - £31KJ,9971 of which £337,306 12023 -
£295,775> was restricted funding. £5,(￿￿(2023 - £5.(WJJl was designated by the Trustees as a contingency fund.
and £28,88412023- £2221 w35 unrestricted. The Trustees bdieve that the position of the Charity is Satisfactory as
they have sufficient reseNes to cover the Charity's minimal rNerhead commitments.
The Trustees have considered the risks to which the Charity 15 exposed and consider that appropriate steps have
been taken to minimise the Charity's risk.

Compary Law requires the twstees to prepare financial statements for each ffinantial year which 8ive a true and

trustees eontiNue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the finanaal statements.

Unrestricted funds are available for use at the dist￿tiOn ol the trustees in furtherance of their charitable
objectives.
Restricted fund5 are subject to specific conditsons by donors or grantors as to how they may be used. The
purposes at)d uses of the restricted funds are set out in the notes to the finanoal statements.
Endowment funds are subject to speofic conditions by donor5 that the capital must be maintained by the
charity.
1.4 Income
Income is recogni5e(I when the eharity is legally entided to it after any performance condition5 have been
met, the amounts can be measured reliably. and it 15 probable that incorne will be reteNetl.
Cash donations are recognised on receipt. Other donations are recognised once the charity has been
