include new Charitsble Objects aJKI a wider geo￿aphical area of iKnefiL from Abrdm Ward
to the whole of the borough of Wigan. This will create a Place Based approach to growing
and sustaining comrnunity ¢fflp)w¢rment.
3. At their AGM in 2020. Members ag￿ed unaniMo￿$1Y that there should be a n¢w name for
organisation that better refle¢t&l the tM)rou8h-wide brief of the organisation, and that it should
be Changed to Wigan and Ltigh Community Clwity.
4. Th¢ organisation Operat￿ in two key areas: Asset Trdn5fer, Developm¢nt and Manag¢menL
and Business Support and Growth under the banner of Made in Wigan.
5. The Made in WigaD element of their work cover5 the provision of business service& rangin8
from introductory workshops in social enterprise for schwls and other aspirant ¢ntr¢pren¢urs
through to coachin& mentoring and profrssional development for more established self-
employ¢d business owners. It is reflected in the Made in Wigan initiative. which promotes
th¢ goods and s¢rvices of g)cial entrepreneurs in the TrA)rough

W¢alth building Anchor partnership since 2020. Over the18st 12 month4 all Anchors

to spend money in Wigan. alongside Regional. National and International spend.
8. During 2020 WLCC work in conjunction with Ic¢al authority's to deliver food bank
provision5 Via our Hub at Platt BTidge to fatnily's isolating and suffering hardship os a result
of the Covid-19 Pandernic.
