|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the<br>charity, identifying the<br>difference the charity’s<br>work has made to the<br>circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any<br>wider benefits to<br>society as a whole.|Para<br>1.20|Across 2024 we made progress on the following<br>strategies:<br>**Prayer:**<br>-<br>We continue to host Church Leaders for a<br>monthly prayer breakfast which serves as<br>opportunity to relationship-building, networking,<br>mutual support and encouragement.<br>-<br>We continue to host a weekly ecumenical<br>prayer gathering of church members from<br>across town.   This has become an important<br>moment in the week where we can share news<br>and updates and pray for spiritual<br>transformation in our local area. Prayer points<br>are shared via a monthly newsletter.<br>-<br>We hosted a 247 prayer room for the week<br>leading up to Pentecost.  This was organised<br>by a team of 15 people, from 12 churches, and<br>attracted hundreds of people to come and pray.<br>Some were already Christians, others saw the<br>sign from the street and joined out of curiosity.<br>There were many stories of peace, joy and<br>personal transformation.<br>-<br>On Good Friday we hosted an ecumenical<br>outdoor service at the War Memorial in the<br>centre of town.  This was led by a team from<br>about 8 churches and attracted over 200<br>people, despite the heavy rain.<br>**Convening Leaders for Training and Workshops:**<br>We invited John Kirkby from i61 movement to provide<br>training and input to Church Leaders about how to<br>share faith in a relational way. Around 40 leaders<br>attended the morning session, and a further 50 church<br>members joined for an evening seminar.|





||||**Disciple-Making Learning Community:**<br>Around 8 Church Leaders have been regularly meeting<br>to learn how to implement a disciple-making strategy in<br>our specific context.  Leaders have met to share<br>learnings, resources and encouragement with one<br>another and are committed to journey together for the<br>medium term.<br>**Mission in Jennyfields:**<br>We continued to gather people who have a heart for<br>mission in the Jennyfields area.   We explored several<br>ideas including starting a Foodbank, Volunteering for<br>the Daly Brew Community Café, Prayer Walking and<br>connection with the local community pub.   A What’s<br>App group was set up and there is now regular<br>communication with the local church in that area.<br>**Youth Mission:**<br>Youth Worship Night:<br>We continue to gather teenagers from churches all<br>over Harrogate for prayer and worship on a monthly<br>basis. This event attracts up to 50 young people from<br>12 different churches, with 60% saying it has<br>significantly boosted their confidence.<br>Transforming Lives for Good (TLG):<br>We partnered with TLG, a national children’s charity<br>which helps local churches place 1:1 mentors with<br>children who are struggling in local schools.   Across<br>the year we saw 18 coaches (from 8 different<br>churches) coaching 31 children in 4 different schools.<br>13 families accessed wider support of the church. TLG<br>says that Harrogate is the “largest and most impactful<br>in our UK network of 145 Early Intervention Centres”.<br>Pioneer Youth Work:<br>After a difficult few years, this project has seen<br>significant growth in 2024.  We appointed a Pioneer<br>Youth Worker in June and since then we have seen<br>the following outcomes:<br>–<br>Listening to local stakeholders including, schools,<br>churches, youth workers, CAMHS, police and<br>much more.<br>–<br>A street survey conduced among local young<br>people, asking them what their biggest unmet<br>needs are, and what sort of youth work they would<br>like to see.<br>–<br>A monthly prayer meeting where churches join<br>together to pray specifically for young people<br>–<br>Weekly prayer walking around spaces which are<br>relevant to young people.<br>–<br>Halloween outreach “Light the Night”; giving away<br>over gift bags with John’s Gospel, postcards with<br>positive messages and sweets.<br>–<br>Preparation for a weekly drop-in youth club which<br>is due to open in Jan.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity {"the Trust") for the year ended 3111212024.
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities A¢t 2011
I'the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried OLrt
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Chanty Commission
under section 145{5)Ibl of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confim that no material matters have
examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
rAuse to believe that in, any material respect..
the accounting re¢ords were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act., or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records., or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
conceming the form and content of accounts sel out in the Charities
