1. Agree minutes from last meeting Agreed proposed RD, Seconded JC
2. Treasurer Report
Bank currently £22035.26 + £7,500 in other account. The bank still have the Treasurer’s account locked – still trying to sort out signatories with the bank – MI has been approved has had the card reader and pin but no card - Action ME
3. Grant
Apply to PC for security cameras for VH following an incident at the nearby Flats which resulting in people entering the VL during an event ran by Gardening Club. Action CW Quote for what is needed. Validity of quote. Action all
Considerations for requests, Who are you, introduction, pictures, how big community, reason for money, when will it be spent, how will the community benefit. Inclusion, ecofriendly, sustainability, disability, most favoured. Advert to see if anyone in the village would be able to research possible funding for resurfacing of the car park and electric points.

Tarmac Car park - project – Fundraising needed

Continue to look at grants to cover the cost. Need to get Allmark back out to quote for tarmac.
4. Hall Hire
Need to laminate some images of how to stack tables and chairs so hirers can visualise how this needs to be done. Action ME. Laminate the end of hire rules and place in kitchen, we can then start using the end of hire rules form. Action CW
5. Events/Fundraising
Blakemore Rota – Rob to take charge of reminding someone every month - RD Everone to send Rob our emails to use for the applications – all by end June! Social Media /facebook – RD to do monthly list and also Village Life entry
Cake off event went well – look to repeat next year – May ‘27 for the next one
Saturday Social – went ok Food van sold out – look at booking van for the September event need to sort out social media adverts earlier
9[th] or 16[th] August - Summer Fair – Stalls, dog show September 26[th] Saturday Social – see above
Fruit and veg event – add in Scarecrow event? Proposed Sat 5[th] - Do we turn this into a harvest style event RD to look at
10[th] October Beetle drive. Incl Fish and Chip need to book in advance Friday 16[th] October Folk music evening Saturday 14[th] November – Xmas Fair Friday 27[th] November - Light Switch on Walking Group – early September – run Bar
6. AOB
Need to look at more regular meetings or a better reminder system on What’s app? RD to look at
Ticket Events – look at a prepaid system Event Booking – RD to investigate Meetings to be held on the 1[st] of Monday of the Month going forward Lucy – has offered to help job share with the Secretary role with minutes
