The activities ond welfare of young ptoplc and Ihildrcn, together with the upkeep of our premises are funded. almost entire, by Mernbe of the ecclesia which nurnbered 95 on 5th April 2024. We are continuing to support the ongoing costs and special appeals fmm our centrdl charities. tt is our policy not to seek financial assi5tsnce from outside the Christadelphian Community- Occasionally non-membe donate fijnds during our public events e.g.. coffee momings. All these events are for local charities. Booklets and materials used for our preaching activit5 a offered free of charge to the public. Our Sunday morning servsce is hel(l eath week at 11.15 am èt the hall and on Zoom via a hybrid system except for most Sundays. Abo on Sundays preaching meetings translated into Farsi are either held in the Hall at 2.pM or 8.00pm via 2oom. Refreshments and then lunch is provided to members with food eontribution5 brought by members.
Our Thursday BibEe class meeting is held on Zoom at 7.30 pm and Lwery fortniqht on J Wednesday on 2oom at 8.00pm we hold è Bible CLis5 for our Iranian Membe translatsd into Farsi. There is a Small Sunday School av3ilable each week in temi tlme at the hall at 11.15 am as required for a few children. We tontinue to Instruct Iranians fDr baptrsm and had 43 baptised members on 5th April 2024. For our own members. we hold Services, social events and a study and fellowship meeting in September attending the hall and lor via Zoom. We continue to look for new way5 to promote the good news message of things pertairting to the Lor(l Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God whether online or at the hall. We have continued to support our elderly meTnbeT5 and those with health problems as best we can with telephone calls, vlstts, notes and cards as well as sending magazines. We have given additional a5SiStance as appropriate. All but three of our elderty orfrail members can attend our services * the hall or vla Zoom. Attendance at the hall has been 40 to 70 whKh includes Iranian friends. many of whom have become members of our community by being baptised: one or two have been transferred from another Christadelphian Ecclesia as members of whom 3 are being prepared for baptism with instrurtion on Zoom at the hall or at members. homes. The flnancial position of Ecclesia remains sound and we continue to Carry out minor refurbtshment of our premises for the benefrt of everyone attending our services and activf(ies. A fair proportion of our budget is still being devoted to helping our Iranian frtends with travel expenses, food and mobile phone cards for communlcation.
