The purpose of the chanty continued to be the making of grants to
deserving causes bul also to work with other chanties to provide spe¢ifi¢
support as appropriate
Vthilst the Ttustees continued to consider applications for grants by
deserving causes rt was decided that. subj'ect to receiving an exceptional
request, working with other charities was a better use of resources. The
events that took pla￿ during the year confirmed that view.
The Trustees confirm they have regard to the guidance issued by the
Charrty Commission on public benefit.
