The preacher lor the AGM Evensong w65 the Very Revd Stephen Waine. former Dean of Chichester with Cat70n Nlgel LLoyd officiating at the Service which wa5 followed by the tradttional Cream Tea.

In early September member5 enjoyed the annual Coffee Mornin8 at Deans Court with Sir William Hanham in attÈndarte. The final event of the year was the November Tea Party which again wa5 very popular witti the entertainrnent being a "Desert Island Disu" featufin8 Peter Cook. the Friends. Secretary. During the year Trustee John Hu8he5 arranged trips to Cranbome GaTdens and Garden Centfe. the Russell Cotes Gallery and Tivoli Theatre. A Friends, Banner wès also purchased by John on behalf of the Trustees. The Minster's Family and Outreèch w0￿er. Claire lehmann a8ain or8anised a Chrb5trna5 Craft Fayo at which the Friends had a stall. Over the past year we have welcomed nine new members. Membership fees have continued to be collected and with careful management ot our investments we find our5elvÈs Still In a position to make grants. Overall. we are stiii in a healthy position and have no doubts about continuing to operate ac(ordin8 to our constitutional requirements.
