The Tru5tee5 who served durinB the year are listed on page 2. The appointment of Trustees IS 8overned by the Constitution of the charity. The board of Tru5tee5 15 3uth0ri5ed to aprK)int new Trustees arising from the resignation or death of an existing Trustee. The board shall consist of not more than twelve members to include the Rettor and the tv Churchwardens in office. The trustees appoint a chairperson from among their number. They also appoint a se£retary and treasurer who do not ne£essarlly need to be trustees. OWECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Constitution and Objeets The objects of the Charity are the furtherance of any ¢haritable purpose or purposes in connection with the Minster Church of St. Cuthburga at Wimborne Minster and in part4cular. The charity's objectives are: The preservation, improvement, development. construction and repair of the Minster Church of St. Cuthbur8a at Wimborne Minster in Dorset and its preancts and any aslated buildin85 ItO8ether called the Minster buildrn8$1, and the fixture5 and fittings. equipment, ornaments and chattels lincludin8 the Ch3ined Library) of the Mtnster buildin85. The advancernent of the education of the public the history of the Minster Churth and the preservation of its history, including historical records. The pursuit of such charitable oblettives. with particular regard to the residents of Wimbome Minster, as the Charity trustees shall decide will benefit the Minster buildings and / or the mission of the Minster Chtjrch. Public btnefit Each year our trustees review our objectives and actNities to ensure they continue to reflect our aims. In carryini out this review the trustees have considered the Charity Comrni55ion'5 general 8uidance on public benefrt ar¢d are satisfied that the charity has fulfilled r(s requirements in this rèspect. The Friend5 provided a stall at the Minster Green Fair in June which proved very successful and 15 somethrng we plan to repeat in 2023. The November Tea Party featured a talk and demtsnstration of the rebui organ by the Secretary, Peter Cook. Duringthe year the Friends Events Team provided tea forthe annual visit of "Laudemus" and a150for a visit of a choirfrom Surbiton. In September. members Enjoyed a coffee mornin8 at Dean'5 Court at the invitation of Sir William Hanham who came along and talked to those who attended.

Membership fees have continued to be collected and with careful management of our in¥estmÈnts we find otsiselves Still in a position to make grants. Overall we are Still in a healthy position and ha¥9 Do doubts about contirbuinq to operate accordin8 to our constitution requirements. There were no Grants paid during the year. At 31 December 2022 totol fvnds carrled forward came to £289.8A33 which included restritted funds of £2.529.
