Charit Information Trustees: Mel Booth - Founder / Chair Kelly Mcevilly - Treasurer Principal Office - 393 Birchfield Road, Webheath ,Redditch B974NF Bankers: Natwest, Church Green House, Redditch, B98 80G Structure and Mana ement Redditch Cat Rescue (RCR) is managed by trustees of whom there shall be a minimum of three and a maximum of six. There are currently two trustees that form the management team who hold meetings to discuss and review progress and policies in the rescue. New trustees are appointed by existing trustees from within its volunteers. Election to post is decided at the AGM. They are briefed on their legal obligations, the decision-making process and the recent financial performance of the charity. We are currently in the process of appointing a new trustee. Risk Mana ement The trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks that may arise within the rescue and to ensure appropriate controls / measures are in place to provide assurance against any error / fraud. Financial Review This year has been an extremely challenging year with an e.ver-increasing number of cats needing our help. People are struggling with the increase in the cost of living . Which has a knock-on effect of them struggling to pay for vets bill, food and neutering of their animals. In regard to fundraising, w.e have as always held our own larger events and managed to participate in some other smaller events held by other charities and organisations. As always, our generous supporters have donated where and however they could. They have given both monetary and non-monetary donations such as food and litter. We have bNO collection bins in both Morrison's and Tesco's. This is a massive help to the rescue with its day to day running, feeding of feral colonies and enabling us to help those who are struggling. Financial accounts are available for the year 202312024. A policy minimum reserve value is not necessary. Current policy is to maintain sufficient cash funds for known commitments.

Public Benefit Rescuing cats and kittens that need help and finding them forever homes. Helping people financially with neutering costs. Also providing people with food for their animals for example people that are feeding cats that are not their own i.e. feral colonies or those that are struggling financially. Taking part in the trap neuter release programme (TNR). If it is possible after neutering and providing any necessary veterinary treatment cats are relocated to outdoor homes such as stables or small holdings. Younger cats can be socialized and rehomed. This helps to reduce the expansion of feral colonies. Giving advice and guidance to anyone who may need our help verbally or through our website and Facebook page. Ob"ectives and Activities The main objective of RCR remains to rescue cats and kittens in,Worcestershire and Birmingham areas and rehome where possible. The charity aims to have sufficient fundraising to look after the cats whilst in our care and to be able to continue to be able to take part in the TNR programme. To further these aims we have a small number of foster homes which we are still hoping to increase. Existing catteries have had some updates which have made them more secure and easier to access by our volunteers. We are currently looking to update our top pen which is frequently used for feral cats whilst they are recuperating from neutering or nursing kittens. Volunteers The charity is extremely grateful for the efforts of its volunteers who are involved in .fostering, home checking, cat care, socialising nervous cats and fundraising. Without this valuable contribution of time and enthusiasm we would not be able to achieve as much as.
