**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE AS FOLLOWS:TO PROMOTE THE PUBLIC’S APPRECIATION OF ART IN ILKLEY AND THE SURROUNDING METROPOLITANDISTRICT BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC GROUPS LIVING,WORKING IN OR VISITING THE AREA, IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) BY FACILITATINGCOMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES SUCH AS WORKSHOPS, MASTER CLASSES, ART WALKS,AWARD PROJECTS, EXHIBITIONS, CURATOR DEVELOPMENT AND THE COMMISSIONING OF PUBLICART.NOTHING IN THE CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIOFOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THECHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005.

**Activities:** Providing people of Ilkley and surrounding area access to high quality, thought provoking and spirit-enhancing art, in particular by facilitating community engagement activities such as workshops, masterclasses, art walks, award projects, exhibitions, curator development and commissioning public art.
