Gifts were presented. Annual Parochial Church Meetlyg Apologies- Stall and Sandra Aldridge, Pauline Blunt, Doreen Tew, Sheila Ingram, lieTre Foxwell. Eco Church Barbara Bell explained about becoming an eco church. To do this a group of around three PÉople could join together to build this structure for the chuxch to follow the theme of 'Here, there and everywhere,. Basic ideas - l. Use buses rather then the car, 2. Do not mow the lawn in May - 'No Mow May,. 3, Plant a bush or tree. FYcar*s Report Andy hoped the congregation had looked at the annual Teport: Thiere is so mtich going the life 0£ the church, so to celebrate. Alldy expressed knis gratitde to God and to everyone for the flourishing of the church community in the past year. He highlighted the contribution made by so many to the work of the church. The age of the congregation is spread evenly through the church, with 15 chilldren in church on a Sunday. We are a multinational church too. The church offers sup ort and fellowship daytime gi0P6. Electoral Roll Report and Deanery Synod Report Louise Hicks reported that there are 85 names on the electoral role. The youngest is 16, and 2e people do Thot Ilve tbe payish.
There is a vacaiicy on the Deanery Synod. Fiftallce Report Graham explained the various funds - restricted funds, general fKmds and designated funds. More details in Graham's written report. Approval of accounts - proposed by Thna Veasey, seconded by Hteather Beasleyi all in agreement. Andy thanked Graham for his decade ot service as Treasurer. A presentation was made to Graham. Andy introduced Jo Harris as the new treasurer. Independent Examiner The same examiner will continue to be used. Proposed by fina Veasey, seconded by Louise Hicks. Giving Update Andy Clasper gave an update. There was a giving date In May 2023.
