As a<br>consequence, no public activities took<br>place in thisperiod.|

In 2022/23 SSAI focussed on the<br>consolidation of TM project resources (editing<br>recordings & research into the future structure<br>of the trust) to ensure its legacy and<br>dissemination.<br>The Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments<br>(SSAI) confirmed its wish to continue to offer<br>workshops, public performances of ground-<br>breaking musical and cross-arts work, and a<br>public forum for those interested in ‘strange and<br>ancient’ instruments.<br>These activities satisfy the objects of the CIO in<br>promoting the arts and education of the public<br>by providing performances and workshops,<br>alongside a forum (website and social media) in<br>respect of unusual historical instruments. SSAI’s<br>social media presence continued to reach a<br>large and diverse audience and a Radio 3<br>programme dedicated to Clare Salaman and her<br>work with SSAI on the The Early Music Show on<br>22 January further maintained SSAI media<br>presence and was well received.<br>https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001h568|
