Activities

StrayKind, formerly known as Animal Care Trust (ACT), transforms the lives of suffering stray and wild animals in Taiwan, via a 24-hour rescue service providing emergency veterinary attention. Wildlife is released when healthy, if possible. All other animals are rehomed or given lifelong sanctuary at our sites. Most of our rescues involve dogs and other animals maimed by traps and snares.

Objects: To Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Animals By Providing Appropriate Care, Protection, Treatment And Security For Animals Which Are In Need Of Care And Attention By Reason Of Sickness, Maltreatment, Poor Circumstances Or Ill Usage And To Educate The Public In Matters Pertaining To Animal Welfare In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals
