The Church started meeting in September 1999 although public meetings did not commence until January 2000. All three original trustees signed a Declaration of Trust dated 17 October 1999. On 29 February 2000, the Charity Commission registered the church (charity number 1079630).
The charity converted to a Charitable Incorporated Institution with a constitution signed by the four trustees at that time, dated 29 September 2015. The Charity Commission on 2 October 2015 registered the church with the new charity number 1163813.
At the trustee meeting on 18 January 2016, the trustees agreed to transfer all assets of the previous charity to the CIO on 1 April 2016, and that from that date all charity business and financial transactions would be in the name of the new CIO.
