Publlc Ben•flt The Trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty undei Section 17 of the Chariti88 t 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission's public ben8fit guidance. The Trust's activities are entirely chaiitable in nalure, with funds distributed to organisatlons and projects Ihat provide clear benefits to the public. Throughout the year, grants were awarded to charities and community organisations supporting individuals and families facing illness, disability, financi81 hardship, bereavemènt and Oiher challenges. The Trustees are satisfied th8tthe gr8ntS rnade during the year furthered the charitable purposes of the Trust and delivered tangible publlc b8n8fit.
A¢hl•vements and Pertormance The year ended 30 Septemb8r 2025 was a hlghly Successful one tor the Trust. Tot81 donatlons and fundraising income rec8ived during the year amounted to £148.138 compared with £109,758 in the previous year, representlng g signrficant increase in 8UPPOrt from donors and fundralslng initiatives. The Trust distributed £127.236 to charitable causes during the year. GrAnt8 were awarded to divers6 range of organis8tions Supporting health. wellb8ing, educatSon. communily development and so¢181 welfare. See Appendix A for 2024-2025 b8n8fic18rles. The Tru8t also 8UPPOrted 8 number of grassroots and community-based init18tives, Including educational projects, 8ccessiblllty Improvements, specialist equipment purchases and local fundraising 8Ctivities. These included support for Nell Bsnk Outdoor Education Centre, Broomfield School Garden Project, mobility support equlpment and defibflllator provision through the Tom Par50ns Trust. FundraSsing 8UPPOrt from the Yorkshire property Gommunity continued to b8 a key driver of the Trust'8 success. The ye8r included two signiflcant rundraising actlvities which generated substanlial lund8 for onward distribution to ¢h8ritable causes, Including fundralsing 8ssocl8ted wlth St George's Crypt and Teenage Cancer Trust.
