Help the People Trust was set up on the 6, Day of March 2015 and amended on 21 September 2015. Help the People Trust was incorporated as a charity and its name was entered in the Charity Commi55ion's Central Re8lSter on the 28 September 2015. The Oblectlves of Help the People Trust are: The Charity's objects are for the benefit of the Inhabitants of Bangladesh but not exclu5ivety: lal The advancement of educatlon in particular disadvanta8ed people of all faiths Idlsadvanta8ed by their economic or social circumstances) under the aged of Twenty-Five1251 years in the rea of benefit through the awarding of Scholarship, accommodation and maintenance Ilowances and by supportin8 the work of educational instltutions with the aim of improvirY3 the quality and availability of thelr educatlon. Ibl The relief of poverty, the promotion of good health and wellbeing lincludin8 the relief of the sickl, the relief of those in financial need, hardship and distress and the relief of suffering among impoverished people (impoverished due to their economic circumstances) in the area of benefit by providing housing, sanitatlon, clean water and flnancial assistance. Icl The relief of ihose in need in the area of benefit who are victims of natural or manmade disaster or catastrophe in particular by the supply of shelter, food and medical aid to such persons. Structure, Governance and Management The charity is constituted by a Constitution of a Charltable Incorporated Organlsatlon ICIOI wilh votin8 members are its Charity Trustee. Itls governed by the regulatlon set out In the ConstitutK>n and run by a voluntary Executive Committee. The charit￿5 commlttee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting every two years. The Executive Commlttee members are normally briefed by the Chairman and the General seC￿tary to familiarise themselves wlth the rules, regulations and responsibllltles of the charity. The Management Committee met six tlmes durlng the year to review the actlvitles of the charity includin8 the approval of the annual report and accounts as well as budgets, capital expenditure and to set out the fund-raising date for the Charlty. The day-to￿aY work of ihe charlty Is overseen by the Chalrman whols responslble to and reports to the Management Commlttee. Provided financial assistance and medicines to the deprived people. Provided financiol 5UPPOrt for family maintenance for the poor and widows who were in desperate need. Provided support for educational advancement for the poor and needy families. Provided support to rebuild the houses for the homeless people. Build social housing for homeless and flood affetted people. The Management Committee Is indebted to all well-wishers for thelr support to Help the People Trust. The Executive Committee is very appreciative to the patrons for their financial support. Flnanclal Revlew The financial position of the Charity is portrayed In the accompanying Annual Accounts. Statement of Trustees, Responslbllltles- Law appllcable to charities in England & Wales require5 the Trustees to prepare a financial statement for eath financial year, which gives a true and fair view of the charity's financial attivities during the year and of Its financial posltion at the end of the year.
