PUBLIC EIENEFIT STATEMEN.T
In planning we have consi￿jeTed Euidance from the Charity Commission to ensure
we meet our public benelil reauirements.
RESULTS FOR THE YEAR
The results for the year a,'e sel out on ihe finance pages following this report.
RESERVES POLICY
The trustees have consid•vpd the policy and have agreed that sufFicient funds
are to be retained in case of emergency lor the corntinuance of the project in
Pakistan.The policy will b￿ reviewed during the financial year.
RISK
The trusLees confirm tha., r.ontrols are in place designed to mitigate the major risks
to which the CIO is faced i<aisTng sufficient funds is a major challenge and one for
which the trustees are dr.'ving forward.
DIA YL515 CENTERS
The first Oialysis Center Jil￿Ported by Medical AidlUKI was established at the City
Hospitai,Gilgil.Paki5tan on 13th October 2018.Dialysis machines and equipment was
donated to the hospit31.b Tranogement committee was established locally to oversee
the daily operation of thi:. cepler.ln 2023 5 state of the art brand new Fresenius
diaylsi5 machines werh donalKAd to a well established Kidney Hospital in the city of
Gujranwala in Ihe Puniab irovince.This hospita5 is attached to the local Government
hospiLal where SO dialysi:. machines are installed to provide free dialysis to poor &
needy of ihe area.
During
Lhe year a Dialysi5 cpntre was esiablished at Skardu in the northern areas of GB
Four srate of the art branil iiew German dialysis machines together with RO system
was donated for the projprt al Government Hospital.Skardu
FUTURE PROJEcrs
The trLlStees have been eyDlnring possible remote alea5 of Pakistan to establish
dialy5i5 centers in government run hospitals.
During ihe year contacts Yi BVP been made at a small town ir4 South Punjab where
the netsd to set up a dialk'".i% cerilre for the poor and needy.Successive provincial
governffjents have negler, od this parl ol P4Jnjab for development and providing
health care.lt is anticipatrrl that during 2026 a dialysis centrp will be established
at Chowk Azam.The trusiVPS are also exploring to establish at least one dialysis
centre In KPK.
