Para 1.20 | We contnued to support a good mix of groups to use the Centre encompassing Sports, Youth Groups, Music, Disability (SEND) Groups, Dance groups. We spent £ 25,614 on repairs and renewals as our building is aged and in need of modernisaton. Our hire income was £52,380 and our total income was £ 55,242, this was due to an increase of room hire fees for groups – this had been unchanged for over 10 years. Our modernisaton programme has contnued but with trustee’s other commitments progress has slowed. We contnue to hold good reserves in our Bank Account and have Investments with M&G and Blackrock. The Investments are ‘specie funds’ and cannot be utlised without Charity Commission approval. We also own the Freehold Property housing the Youth Centre and the long-term lease in respect of the adjacent Property known as Baxter House. |
