## **Annual Report of the Trustees of Higher Denham Community for 2022.** The trustees continued their work in overseeing and managing the use and upkeep of the Community Hall and the Sports Field, both of which are owned by the local community. As usual, the hall was used for a number of activities by groups of local residents and by people from the surrounding area, including a range of fitness classes, parties and lunches for senior citizens. The sports field was used by groups and individuals for recreational activities including, this year, by two local junior football teams for matches. A successful event was put on, on the sports field, for the celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by and for local residents with music and dancing and special activities for children. A very successful Guy Fawkes fireworks night was staged on the field in November. On the wider front, the cctv security system in the village was improved and maintained, and planning for a new community hall continued by a sub-group of Trustees and residents.
