The charity and the events it organises are
entirely run by unpaid Irusteeslvolunteers.
Ordinarily events are run each year and
surpluses are generated which are
allocated as the trustees see fit to either..
Resetves, General (donation) Fund or
Hardship Idonationl Fund. Each year the
trustees make donationslgrants to other
charities, unfundedlfunded community
groupslorganisations as the trustees see fit.
Each year the trustees also receive
requests for donationslgrants from other
organisationslgroups and the trustees
make such grants as they see fit. The trust
has made such donationslgranls in every
year in which it has operated.

Financial Review
Review of the charity's
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21
The charity was only able to hold one event
in October 2023. This event was successful
and generated a financial surplus in
accordance with its budget and expected
margins. Following this event, the charity's
cash at bank posrtion as at 3111124 was
£43,739 allocated as.. Reserve £30,000,
General Donation Fund £6,831, Hardship
Fund £6758, and Ex
ense Accruals £150
The reseNe was initially established given
the trustees concerns regarding the
following factors..
1 } The main annual fund-raising event
is weather dependant, a wet
weather event may give rise to a
loss.
2) The costs of running the main
annual event have risen to the point
where cash flow immediately prior
must be managed véry carefully. the
reserve is integral to that
3) The charity must find a new location
in 8aldock for future events as the
historical location has been
developed and is no longer
available. As at 311112024 the trust
had moved its storagelequipment to
a new pemianent location and was
in the process of establishing
whether the Baldock Communty
Centre could bè a viable location for
all future events
The adequacy or otherwise of the reserve is
reviewed annuall
As at 311112024 the reserve is £30 000
