We will be looking at possibly revising our CIO constitution since it will be nearly a decade since we adopted it. Since we now have permanent purchased premises, we want to take this opportunity to make sure our objectives and activities are suitable to our new premises and amend accordingly.

We offer help, support and guidance to New Muslims. Enquiry service for anyone with questions regarding Islam.

Islamic Classes Classes to New Muslims, male and female, have been imparted regularly on a weekly basis. The classes have always been accompanied with advice and counselling as each New Muslim is a world of his/her own, with his/her own personal challenges.
Meetings People who have expressed interest in Islam and have contacted us have been able to meet our staff for meetings to provide them with reliable information on the Islamic faith.

## Section D Achievements and performance
## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
The greatest achievement of this 2023 financial year for our charity, has been to be able to purchase a commercial property to serve as our permanent base. This was possible through social media appeals and raising awareness amongst the local Muslim community and in other parts of the UK to support us in the purchase of this property. We received enough funds which enable us to purchase the property.
Our campaign to increase our regular standing order donors has been successful. Our regular monthly donations through standing orders have nearly double in a single year. We will continue to exert efforts in this area.
We also refurbished the charity’s new property to comply with all regulations in terms of safety, security, fire regulations, electricity, and all necessary policies, etc. Our property will be opening to the public at the end of February 2024.

Future projects:
• We intend to continue providing reliable Islamic literature to Muslim prisoners in the prison estate throughout the whole of UK which would contribute to their reducing re-offending and also serve as a tool of deradicalization.
• To organise food collections twice a year to support the local charities, other organisations and public institutions that look after the local people living in different types of crises, void of resources to look after their own subsistence needs.
- To explore new activities that are suitable to our new purchased premises and charity objectives.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31/12/2023**
**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”) .
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
**Independent** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect,:
