A new trustee was appointed to diversify the charity board’s professional background. Mr Rashid Panchbhaya was approved to join us in the Board of Trustees. Mr Panchbhaya is a qualified accountant. He has also supported our services for many years as a volunteer, being fully aware of our organisational needs and familiar with our work ethics. His appointment in last quarter 2022, has brought in a wide range of professional expertise.
In the second quarter of 2023, Mr Tamir Sujandin offered his resignation due to personal circumstances. His resignation was accepted by this charity’s board of trustees and records were updated with the Charity Commission.

We offer help, support and guidance to New Muslims. Section D Achievements and performance
**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
We relaunched our newly designed website as the previous one became obsolete. It was sourced to a web-designer outside from the organisation. However, it has proven not to be very user friendly and flexible, as we can’t modify is basic structure and we struggle with communicating our demands to a web-designer based abroad.
One-to-one counselling has become a service we provide to New Muslims who are struggling to adapt to their new lifestyle. This is always in high demand. Our classes have expanded.
We produced more teaching material to enhance our services to new Muslims.
We raised more awareness in social media platforms about our charity’s services. As a result our standing orders increased from a wider base of donors.
After we have refurbished our rented premises, Food Collection has not been a priority project due to our charity’s lack of space to store donated items.

Our charity was established in 2015 and counts with limited funds. The charity's funding relies solely on public funds for its activities. It runs strictly by volunteers at the moment. There has been no need to pay or hire anyone to-date in order to fulfil the charities' objectives. We are still a small charity so there is no need for an investment policy.

Future projects:
• To design a new website that is more practical to work with and user friendly, and to be designed locally.
• We intend to continue providing reliable Islamic literature to Muslim prisoners in the prison estate throughout the whole of UK which would contribute to their reducing re-offending and also serve as a tool of deradicalization.
• To increase the frequency of food collections to support the local charities, other organisations and public institutions that look after the local people living in different types of crises, void of resources to look after their own subsistence needs.
• To explore the possibility of purchasing a property for permanent use, rather than renting. The new premises will allow us to expand our services.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31/12/2022**
**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
**Independent** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect,:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act; or
- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
