**Activities:** Light of Hira provides classes to new Muslims and meets with people interested in Islam. It distributes reliable and authentic Islamic literature to the public, including prisons. It assists periodically with Food Collection Service collecting donated items from the local Muslim community, with the purpose of donating non-perishable food items to the poverty stricken  a/o those living in crisis.
