**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PRESERVE THE HONEYBEE BY PROMOTING THE CRAFT OF BEEKEEPING AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC OF THE BENEFIT OF BEES IN THE ENVIRONMENT. THE CHARITY WILL GENERALLY OPERATE IN, AND DRAW ITS MEMBERSHIP FROM THE COUNTIES OF LEICESTERSHIRE AND RUTLAND ALTHOUGH MEMBERSHIP FROM OUTSIDE THE REGION IS ALLOWED.

**Activities:** Preservation of the Honey Bee by promoting the craft of beekeeping, educating and training beekeepers, improving bee husbandry.Educating the public about the benefits of bees in the environment by providing speakers, taster sessions and hands on bee experiences using our bee demonstration tent where children can handle bees and see inside a real live bee hive.
